The Wireless Floor+ Alertamat is for use in conjunction with the Alerta Wall Point Receiver which needs to be ordered separately.
This mat is most effective when placed at the bedside or doorway.  When it senses pressure on its surface it transmits a signal via its inbuilt transmitter to the Wall Point Receiver (effective up to 95 metres away) to provide the caregiver with advanced warning when a patient who is at risk has left their safe zone.
