The Wireless Bed Alertamat is for use in conjunction with the Alerta Wall Point Receiver which needs to be ordered separately.
This mat is most effective when concealed under the mattress.  When it senses that the occupant has left the bed it transmits a signal via its inbuilt transmitter to the Wall Point Receiver (effective up to 95 metres away) to provide the caregiver with advanced warning when a user at risk of falling leaves their bed.  When the user returns to the bed the alarm is reset automatically.
